About Me
🐾 About Bella
Bella, the heart of Bella B’s BARK-ery, brought 17 beautiful years of love, joy, and personality into this world before she gained her wings in January 2025.
She was the kind of dog who made everyday life feel special, whether she was going for walks, riding in the car, or insisting on a stop at In-N-Out for her favorite Flying Dutchman. She loved chasing (but never quite catching) critters in the yard, spending time at the beach, playing with her toys, and soaking up all the love from her mom and Grandma.
Bella was also a very accomplished girl. She earned her Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog titles through the AKC, proudly completing her Intermediate title at 11 years old which proved what I’ve always believed: you can absolutely teach an old dog new tricks. She was also an AKC Canine Good Citizen, because of course she was.
Even though Bella is no longer physically by my side, she is still the inspiration behind everything at Bella B’s BARK-ery. Every product, every idea, and every little detail is rooted in the love I had, and still have, for her.
If you’d like to read more about her life and the joy she brought into mine, you can read her full tribute page here.
About Alexandra
Hi, I’m Alexandra! Welcome to Bella B’s BARK-ery!
I’m a lifelong creator, and I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember. Bella B’s BARK-ery was born out of that creativity and a very real need: I wanted cute, functional accessories for Bella that I couldn’t find anywhere else. So I started designing them myself—and that’s how this little shop came to life.
Today, I create everything from leash and collar sets to practical favorites like poop bag holders that make everyday dog life a little easier (and a lot cuter).
When I’m not working on orders, I’m also a pet photographer over at Anja Lou Photography, where I get to capture the personality and spirit of people’s beloved dogs. Outside of business, I’m always creating in some form, baking, painting, jewelry-making, embroidery, or decorating for the holidays (my longest-running obsession since childhood).
I’m also a road trip lover, and Bella and I have always had a special connection to Morro Bay, CA. We spent time hiking, kayaking, and of course making our essential stop at Taco Temple whenever we were in town.
As a proud dog mom to senior dogs over the years, I have a deep soft spot for older pups. My hospice girl Tyra and my super senior Dorothy shaped so much of my heart, and Bella, my 17-year sidekick, continued that legacy of love.
In January of 2026, I adopted my senior boy Jack, who came to me very sick with severe pancreatitis and a UTI. At one point, I truly wasn’t sure he would pull through. But with time, patience, and a lot of love, he has made an incredible recovery. Today he is spunky, sweet, and very much enjoying life.
In honor of my precious pups, I donate a portion of Bella B’s BARK-ery sales to senior dog rescues and other meaningful community causes. You can learn more about that on my Giving Back page.
🐾 Meet Jack
In January of 2026, I adopted my senior boy Jack, who came to me very sick with severe pancreatitis and a UTI. At one point, I truly wasn’t sure he would make it, but he had other plans.
With time, patience, and a whole lot of love, Jack has made an incredible recovery. Today, he is spunky, sweet, and fully enjoying life in a way that feels nothing short of a gift.
Jack is nearly completely blind and mostly deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down in the ways that matter most. He loves his walks, mealtimes, loves to play, and above all else he loves snuggling. He is my best boy and a daily reminder of how resilient senior dogs can be when they are given a chance.
Having Jack in my life continues to deepen my love and commitment to senior dogs and the belief that every stage of life deserves care, dignity, and joy.
